Nupro Joint and Immunity Support for Dogs, 1-Pound (Small Breed Size)

I ran out for a week and saw big difference in my dog… it really helps my dog’s arthritis

My senior girls have been on Nupro for years. The joint support Nupro is a good supplement in their food daily. It coats the kibble, and makes a nice soupy texture when mixed with water. Both girls do very well on it.

I can’t sing enough praises for this stuff.

In July of 2011, I was living in Thailand. A scraggly dog, barely alive, wandered onto my compound. I honestly didn’t think she would make it because she was about the size of an Australian shepherd but was only twenty pounds. It was one of those moments where I couldn’t help myself. She was coming home with me. I spent the next several months painstakingly nursing her back to health and figuring out how to accommodate what turned out to be cerebral palsy in her.

When she finally got to the United States, the veterinarian told us that she had a very poor coat quality and thought it might be due to her severe malnutrition. She recommended that I start giving my dog salmon oil and other supplements to see if we could beef up her coat quality; she also told us that it would be a good supplement to help the dog’s joints, as her cerebral palsy is very hard on the upper shoulders and elbows.

I did a lot of research on vitamin supplements because I was worried about my dog’s coat quality and the effects of her malnutrition, but I settled on Nupro after I heard someone say, “Nupro will grow hair on a rock.” I’ve never been able to convince her to eat commercial dog food. If you had grown up eating good, authentic Thai food, would YOU want Purina? I didn’t think so. I researched some homemade dog food recipes and finally settled on one she loved. I mixed in a little bit of curry paste and copious amounts of Nupro. She needed to gain weight and she needed some serious nutrients.

A few weeks later, as the seasons changed and she had her coat blast, she developed the most beautiful, shiny winter coat. We still give her the Nupro on every meal and thankfully she loves the taste, because she still refuses to eat any commercial dog food. A combination of a balanced, home-made diet and probably double the dose of Nupro has done wonders for my dog’s physique and coat.

This immediately helped my dog with his pain. He was limping for weeks, we took him to the vet and paid $800 to be told he “probably strained his leg”. I was recommended this by a coworker 10 years ago for my last dog and ordered it for my current dog. Within 2 weeks we noticed a huge difference and limping is almost gone. Thankful for his product!

I’ve been using this for years and years and I can tell you it really works. No arthritis issues in any of my dogs and only need to sprinkle on their food and they love the taste too. My cocker spaniel at age 5yrs old started limping, and even go up the steps, which there are only a few porch steps for her to go up and within a month she was chasing the squirrels and running around like a pup again with no problem with steps at all. My Demi lived to age 14-1/2. I highly recommend it. Works Great.. you won’t regret it for sure. Thank goodness I found this stuff as I now give it to every dog as soon as they come whether a foster dog or my own they all get it every day with breakfast!!!

My pups love the liver flavor. Have used it for about a week, will give a update In a few weeks to see if it does help. The only thing I have seen, is they move their bowels alittle more, which is ok.
